This week has been for me one of those weeks that simply make you feel a bit odd.
Mostly regarding cars.

It's a natural phenomenon around here that when the weather is good and the sun is shining, expensive luxury cars can be seen cruising around the roads - particularly near the beach. However, now, they seem to be focused rather close to my house.

It all started a few weeks ago when modded cars started parking nearby. I live in a small, unimportant side street that noone really cares about - a good place to park your car. Those cars were nice, you know - with flashy hoods and stuff - but nothing special. Later on, a BMW Z9 appeared - it parked daily right in front of my house! A lovely piece of machinery, however it's age made it look very worn, and not too worthy of a photo. However that car disappeared two weeks ago, and then it came...
The most beautiful car I've ever seen - the kind you can only ever dream of. Convertable, metallic silver, beautiful - it simply beamed the word "Luxury". A Jaguar XK.. Parked right in front of my door!

I thought I was hallucinating at first, but it was very real. Naturally, I rushed up to grab my camera and hope to manage to take a picture of it - but I was still too late. I guess the driver was right nearby, because by the time I got back down it was already gone... Such a beautiful car, and not a single souvenier from it. Heh.

As if that wasn't enough to make any car amateur envy, last week another car came to the neighborhood, although this one appears more regularly - a Porsche Carrera GT convertable. A bit worn, but still metallic purple and very nice.. But every time I go up to take my camera it's always just two minutes too late - the car usually doesn't stay parked here for very long.

What a week it was...
